Coolio the man in Celebrity Big Brother betting

Coolio looks like the man when it comes to Celebrity Big Brother betting – and at best odds of 11/2 the rapper and second favourite looks a good price to win this year’s CBB.

The rapper (best known for “Gangsta’s Paradise” – download it here- and not to be confused with the baby on Benidorm) is that price at Skybet. He’s got a naturally entertaining style and I reckon this could put him ahead of current favourite Verne Troyer (6/4 with Hills).

Troyer is clearly too short (no pun intended – although the obvious gag has been widely used already) and once you get over the fact that the guy will win votes because of his size you realise that you can’t win a reality TV show just by being small.

A recent poll I just did on the News of the World website showed Lucy Pinder ahead, with 28 per cent of respondents citing her as their favourite. Coolio is in third place, after Troyer, with 11 per cent.

The NOTW isn’t perhaps the most reliable sample in the world, but it might be worth a point or two on Lucy – she’s currently quoted at 25/1 with Bet365.
